How doyou sex them ? I have just the 4 in a heavily planted and aquascaped tank. They are still not eating anything I am offering but seem to have bellys so they must be eating Sommin

The largest dwarf puffer creates a chemical so he is a male and the rest are females. Usually the largest one is the male and the rest are females.

That is mental didn't no that happend with fresh water fish. I have one beasty little guy guessing he's my male

I don't know what that poster was talking about, I had several males of different sizes, not just the biggest, the rest do NOT become females

go with mosquito larvae and daphnia - few fish can resist
