I dont know, I am pretty sure it is though. I have only found it on one piece and its a very small ammount. The rocks have been in the tank for months now.

Those look like they might be quartz or silicate crystals in the rock. All of the pyrite samples that I've seen have not been in veins. If you wanted to be certain, you could put the questionable piece in a bucket of neutral water and monitor it for pH drops.
