I was struggling to find a Python no spill syphon that I could purchase here in the UK (all out of stock) so I had to go for an alternative, finally settling on the JBL aqua in out.

Just tried to connect it up to the tap tonight and I am having real difficulty as I don't have a threaded tap in my house (it doesn't come with a hose connection similar to that of the python). I may have to return it unless I can think of a homemade solution from the DIY shop tomorrow as no where seems to sell the right adaptor for it.

Has anyone else had experience of this bit of equipment or know of anywhere that is selling the python syphon in the UK?

Getting real tired of lifting buckets of water around every week, Thanks!

How about cutting the head off a real python, and the tail, then attaching it to the tap with rubber bands and use that as a syphon? Just kidding my friend! Buy the real one like I told you when its available. Ie you should have purchased 2 year ago when I did when it was in stock! Totally you!

Finally got it fixed with a couple of DIY pieces and its running great. Yes in retrospect it might of been just as easy to build one. All it consists of is a T shaped pipe with a valve connect to a hose with a gravel cleaner on the end. Oh well its all good after the event. Three tanks waters changed in under 15mins with not a drop spilled.
