Python and Arowana, tanksmates?

The "file" snakes have quite a distinctive head shape, and I did look at that, but it resembles a python or boa more than these species. I did wonder to myself if it was an aussie water python (looks to have a yellowish belly) but to be honest the video is pretty crap quality.

Yesterday I was thinking about that, but even they need a large land area to dry, bask and hide
 
Oh yeah, definately, they need to dry off completely. It would be the same as keeping an anaconda in an aquarium full of water.

i know most snakes do, but, arn't elephants and tentacleds the only full aquatic fw snakes?

That was my undertanding anyway.

Yes they are (although I'm not sure if the elephants need drying off), but like I said in an earlier post, it doesn't have the distinctive head shape of the elephant trunk snakes.
