I cant be the only person having this issue, but it sure seems like it. I recently picked up the aqueon water changer part and connected a garden hose to it. So far so good. I have been connecting it to my kitchen sink, but as many have found out, cheap plastic threads against the metal ones on the sink dont go so well. So I want to pick up the brass fitting to put an and to that.
Thus far most of the brass fittings I'm finding are male to male fittings, so faucets with female threads and male aerators. I guess my sink is weird, the faucet has male threads on it, so I need a female to male adapter. I found this guy-
http://www.amazon.com/Python-Adapte...4&sr=8-4&keywords=python+brass+faucet+adapter
However it appears from looking at it the female side is the 3/4" threads, which is a no go, that is much larger than my faucet threads, 3/4 would be a garden hose size roughly. Am I wrong about that? There has to be someone with a male threaded faucet out there.
