python gravel cleaner

eh ive always had the sink on i got my python siphon free cuz my aunt works at the milwauke wisconsin python siphon company

I shut my sink off once the suction is started, except when draining a 20g growout that's low to the ground. I get great suction even without the sink when using my 25ft python on the bedroom tank. I just unhook it and drain it right into the tub. In the kitchen though I have to use 50 feet and the suction is terrible either way. I hate it. I feel like I can never get my tanks clean. Once it's summer I'm going to just drop the python out the side door and shower the sidewalk down below (I'm in a 2nd floor apartment in the city).

I love the python system, it works great and the best thing of all is I can go all over the house to clean tanks and not make a mess. As far as leaving the water on, like everyone said, to clean the gravel leave it on, but to just drain the tank it is not needed to keep the water on.

My python does make cleaning and filling the tank much easier.
The problem I'm having is i don't have enough water pressure to clean a lot of the poo out of the tank. Short of installing a pump on it does anyone have any suggesstions on getting more suction? My house water pressure is maxed out.

Didn't mean to get off topic on your post Arowana King.

Same here the python can barely pick up any crap or anything, out water prssures sucks. I just use a 6 foot gravel vac and use it before I use the python on each tank.
