I'm a little confused on how the python hose works. It drains the tank water out into your sink just like any other siphon hose right? But do you use it to fill your tank back up? How can you just pump straight tap water into your tank? Temperature? Chlorine?

i use on, i think its great. i just use regular tap water, but right after i put it in i treat the amount i put in with bio safe.
well there is a plastic device you hook up to sink with the hose that attaches to it, by turning part of the plastic thing you put into suck or fill mode to set temp when filling, remove hose and adjust your faucet with the hot/cold knobs and a thermometer were the water comes out then just reattach the hose and turn to fill mode. while you fill just put some water conditioner in the tank and shut it all off when done. might sound complicated but its really not
python 101 .... drain your tank or do your water change....go to wal mart or target and get yourself a durable rubber maid 25-35-45 gallon storage conatainer with lid.... store your water in there pumped directly from your faucet using your python.. treat water overnight with your dechlorinator aquarium salt ...etc its the best investment as far maintenence purposes... 5 gallon buckets are like playstation 2 man outdated
