I am tired of carrying around buckets for water changes on my 150. I just heard about this python no spill (I know I'm probably a decade late lol) and was wondering how it actually works and if anyone knows where I can get it for cheap. Thanks in advance.

i hear they work very well, but the 50 foot hose is like 50$ at the cheapest i have seen

get one asap, i cant imagine doing bucket water changes for a 150g.

Howdy,

It's nice for gravel vac and water chances on small tanks (40 gal). Due to the small diameter of the hose, it takes forever to drain a /\/\onstertank. The vacuum it creates to drain into the sink is laughable, gravity into the toilet is much better. All in all a nice toy and a must for gravel/sand vac. But it cannot replace the practicality of one (or two) larger diameter garden hoses.

Python's are fine, so is a hose to syphon out water and a garden hose to fill from a tap.

Downside is declorinator is added to the tank water as oppossed to pretreating water in the bucket. Some debate on this topic.

I bought a 25' vinyl hose and fittings to attach it to my kitchen/bathroom sink for about 1/3 the price of a python... it works just as well...
