Python or Aqueon water changer/gravel cleaner?

I have the Python, and have replaced the "venturi pump" a couple of times with one from a waterbed store. If the "venturi pump" on the Aqueon is made of heavier plastic, give it a shot.

I saw one in BigAls today and the gravel tube on the Aqueon is quite a bit narrower than the Python tube.

the only thing i would suggest with the python is getting a brass adapter for the faucet instead of just using the plastic adapter. i really like having that, and since i just leave it on the sink it looks better than the plastic too. the venturi's (i guess the green stem piece) do break after a while, but the python company is really good about replacing them right away and for free if you call or email. otherwise petsmart has them online for about half of the instore price, so you could just do a printout and bring it in to the store.
