Man dont panic yet,i wish i could copy and paste from this boa book i have but dang its long, first thing i would do is go to wallmart and get a plastic sweater box, line it with news paper and use a soldering iron or whatever to melt a bunch of air holes, keep it in that until its under controll.dump any thing from its cage and clean the tank with mild bleach solution.keep the snake in the box for now.Place some no pest strips around your herp area by the tanks, while doing that dont leave water bowls in there. You dont want the fumes getting in them.Dude vasileen is a bich to get off of anything,Im afraid of you using that.I would start soaking it in luke warm water every few hours or so.it will get off most unless they are in air pockets.Im reading this for you but have not ever tried it,here goes, use mycodex flea and tic spray. The 0.2 percent pyethrens spray is diluted with three parts water to 0.05 percent sprayed on a paper towel and wiped lightly on the snake. It sais to do this to the cage also and to air dry for at least an hour wich means i would let it dry for a day, lol. It says to do this 3 days in a row.Check with others before doing this because i got it from a boa book and you know how that goes, sometimes they are good though.I think i used mineral oil once to sufocate them, those pest strips are good at preventing ive used them now for a long time. Some areas just get fleas, mites and tics more than others.good luck,do the soaking and get it a seperate home for a few weeks.
