Ok so I switched over too using a smaller python for the winter. But my 50 foot I use for the summer; my dad just found saw it and said there is mold all in it. my father and I cleaned it out. Now should I just use this for removal? and no longer for water entering the tank? or will the mold hurt my fish. please answers are great. or have my dad laugh at me this will be my 3rd 50 foot they are 125 a piece.

I have no idea about the mold but you can get the Pythons at walmart for $27.00 just so you know.

Nicole is right. The 50 ft are $30 at Walmart here. Also you can rinse the python out with as hot of water as you can get. Then you can also use a bleach solution to rinse it out...then rinse it out with hot water again. I have cleaned mine out several times..and have yet to have a problem with it.
Try to make sure when you store it that you suck ALL the water out of it first. It will save you the extra time.:D

i get it all the time.... fill a 5 gallon bucket with hot bleach water and let the python suck it out.... instant clean sanitized python

WTFGDMF FGDIOFGFDIGHOG, thanks my petco sucks the balls 125.99 for a 50 foot python do they do internet print outs?

that bleach method works great no way in hell I would pay that...

you can make your own python for less than 1/2. most LFS that carry pythons carry their faucet adapter for around $7. then all you need is tubing from home dept for around .50 a foot.

there you go, works exact same as a python since your using their actual part. instant python for much, much cheaper
