Python water changes = stress?

I never used python before and i want to buy one. I was wondering how much dosage of dechlor do you have to put(the same gallon taken from the tank or the maximum gallons of the tank)? Do you put it after or before putting new water?

I suspect that you are putting too much of the water decholor treatment in your tank, you should only add it once after the water in the tank before you add tap water. How long have you been having these problems?

Well I bought the python with the aquariums, so since I started. I have been assuming it was the new fish cycle or poor water quality. But the nitrites and ammonia are almost perfect so I've begun to look at other things. I will post as much as I can about my tapwater when I get home.

Prime would be the best to use and refilling your tank slowly won't change the temperature dramatically.
