It goes outside. My Python just reaches the faucet outside.

I have used a "python" to drain my tank right off of my 2nd floor balcony!!! It was dark so I don't think the neighbors even saw!! They probably though it was raining, I haven't used the sink for draining before.

drain mine outside ,vacuum at the same time, and use it to fill works great.

My oscar tries to show the vac hose who is boss lol

i drain mine into the sink... i dont see a problem with it... im only concerned about filling water directly from the tap, but so far so good after 3 months. I think they are great!

I am on a septic system and I do not think I should add all that water to the system each month. I drain out the window. Love it. Probably would not keep aquariums without it. BTW I have 60 feet of hose so I can reach all my tanks, to make it easier.

i wouldn't clean my tank anyother way. mine's 100' and reaches everywhere in the house.

does anyone have algae building up in the hose of their python? and if so what is the best way to get rid of it?

I just leave the buildup alone and let it flake off and drain out during a water change. Its just ugly, thou its never been a problem. If im filling up the tank and the algea flakes enter the tank, the fish seem to like eating it! :)

i drain it outside with the water supply off so it just syphons out, then i use it for refils. pythons are cool cuz no buckets, worth it in my opinion but you can get away with a regular gravel vac with a long hose to go outside, then a regular water hose for refils.
