I want to get one but I replced all the faucets in my house with "designer" one that you cant screw a connector onto.so its still the bucket brigade for me

Just stick it out the window and hook it up to a hose, thats what I do.

i use the adapter but if i close the ball valve with the water on it flies off and sprays all over

yeah your water is suitable to be put back in while adding declorinator. Walmart and other shops mainly carry the 40' but if you need more then just buy extra tubing from the plumbing section, its cheaper than the 100'.

I never realized how great they were until I got one. I couldn't go back to buckets.

They are great, until you realize you can make one for a fraction of the price. I have one and use it but lucky for me it was a birthday gift.

You leave the water turned on when draining the tank right? How long would it take to drain 100 gallons?

They need to reconstruct the sink adaptor thouhg. I HATE how that little peice inside keeps unscrewing and then it leaks all over the place.
