Q About Delhezi Markings

Buying a 12" bichir online even with shipping is still cheaper then buying a 1" bichir and spending enormous amounts of money on food to fatten it up to 12"'!

Maybe. But I still wouldn't have been able to put it into the 55G tank with three 5'' Senegals.

Also I only had the 10G right now so it worked out alright. He can grow out in the 10G for now.

Live and learn I guess.. lol. Now I know for next time. And there will be a next time....hehe. So many Poly's I want....

Yeah there really isn't anything special about a bandless delhezi, but they are sort of cool if they don't have any stripes at all. They do sort of look like silver senegals. I personally like the ones with plenty of bold stripes myself.

Another option is to go in on a group buy, which would cut the shipping expense considerably. It's not always easy to find others who are ready to order something, but it is sometimes worth it to try to put an order together!

What shops are you frequenting up there? Aquarium solutions is one of the best place to look for bichirs in spokane and the greater area. Barbie has the best selection, and the healthiest fish of any shop up there.

I go to Northwest Seed and Pet, Advanced Aquarium and Terrium and Evergreen Pet. All in Spokane.

You definitely need to get out of those shops and into Aquarium solutions. I don't like the condition those three shops are kept in. They all have some good stuff in from time to time, but prices are a little high.

Well I went out there today to see where they were located and I found them. But they were closed. So will go back tomorrow!
