nah, dovi might be aggresive but pinima are sadistic... Dovi bully fish, or tear chunks, pinima harase every sec of everyday untill its victim rolls... Its that or death by 1000 head buts... My pinima killed 3 umbee, 1 dovi, 2 rt and owned a 18" sailfin plec! At end of the day its going to be variablf due to fishes individual personallitys but i stand by my point that certain cichla are more than capable of holding there own with aggresive sa cichlids...

cichla have no teeth and weak jaws I doubt it would stand a chance against an emp since they get bigger, have stronger jaws, and big teeth

im just hoping this is the same fish, and not the emperor cichlid from lake malawi.

documentary is jewel of the rift, previously mentioned and sod the commentator that anit a terrapin... its a sideneck turtle i beleave???
