Q's about pink cons breeding

Lots of clay pots and a high temp will do the trick. Good foods don't hurt either. I like to treat mine with frozen blood worms every now and then. Also, make sure you have a male and female. I've heard people say that they have seen males with the orange on their stomach but I've never seen it myself and I'm pretty skeptical as to whether or not they knew what they were talking about.

To get more pink cons out every spawn, breed a pink male and pink female together...Of course you will get a number pink cons in a normal pair(blank) breeding, but I found that when I do breed pink male and females together, 95-100% come out pink....
 
I have bred convict before and everybody's advice is pretty much spot on. For myself, feeding the cons meaty foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp. Also, once they have a batch of fry, make sure you get a sponge on for the end of your filter to ensure that any fry do not get mistakenly sucked up. Good luck, keep us updated with pics!!
