Q's: M.irwini, P.granulosus,L.dorsalis

i already have a niger. I also have a spotted raphael and 5 stripped raphaels. I just wanted one or two more larger doradids to go with my group. I really like the dorsalis and the irwini would hae to be 2nd. segrestfarms has all three but i cant find anyone locally to order them for me. i dont have the funds to buy the fish and pay shipping so i guess ill have to wait on one of the 2 distributors that are commonly used in my area to get one.

Segrest has all 3 in their catalog but all 3 are not available only the Irwini at this time.

I have 2 small 3" or so Irwinis and they hang out together in the corner by my desk so I get to see them all the time

There is no M. Irwini. It has been revised to M. Uranoscopus, but apparently nobody got the memo because it has been years and our hobby has yet to catch up with the times.

Some here use that name but most dont as you've said.

I work at a fish store that orders from them is the only reason I know....

Irwini is easier to spell, everyone is accustom to that name so that's why I use it.. I imagine others do the same..

Uranoscopus isn't hard to spell. It sounds exactly the way it looks. But anyway, good luck with the doradid. I've always wanted one.
