Oh yes, I'm looking at 40-50gal talls right now so I can have some good height. The goal is to be heavily planted and do mostly if not all betta. It wasnt my original idea but the way they move through the plants is really fun to watch

It's very fun to watch them explore their little world.

I have to ask, because I'm a loser... Does he have a name?

He doesnt lol, the first one I got was sickly and we named him and he died. So this one I held off on naming as not to jinx him ???

If he's past the QT stage and is healthy, it might be time for a name

A fish as pretty as him deserves a title haha

Something to consider is that Betta's originate in rice paddies around a foot deep, not saying tall tanks won't work; but imo footprint over height would serve you well

I think so lol now, it's been long enough lol and bettas do need names ???

I've been mulling it over for a few days, and I might try a 10gal first.. and order my plants and set up that since I cant really locate any fish atm and I hate having to buy from the big box stores.. I havnt seen much as far as others sorority tanks and what I have have been small, so I think you are very right on that..

It seems like it, some of those betta people are a bit nutty ? I gotta think of something good though..something epically random.

Side note, the bf's suck fish order came in.. they're all very healthy and look good..for what they are lol
I ordered my plants too so I guess I gotta go buy at least a 10gal this weekend *daaarn* ?
