Since we are all in lockdown of some kind I've had an idea for a movie challenge.
I'm shocked my wife has never seen Star Wars, she was equally shocked I have never seen Titanic. We have said we will each watch the movie and give an hnest opinion of it. I watched titanic with her and it was better than I thought it would be, obviously I knew the ship would sink. I could have done without the love story but the actual sinking scenes were well done and quite realistic. I also thought the set was good, you can see real pictures of the interior of the ship online and they did a lot of work to make it look very authentic. Wouldn't watch it again but I'm glad I've finally seen it.
Star Wars is set for Friday night.

My idea is for us to pick a well known movie you have never seen and then tell us what you think.
It doesn't have to be the sort of movie you wouldn't normally watch but just something older that you never got around to watching or a movie that was a big hit that evryone has seen except you. As an example my brother has never seen Forrest Gump and my brother in law has never watched pulp fiction.
If you are getting bored it might be a good way to kill a few hours.

This is a really good idea and one I have done before with my partner. We did it in the last month of my pregnancy since it was too hot in Melbourne to try and venture outside and I felt too huge to do anything. ?
I ended up watching all of Star Wars, he ended up watching full metal jacket.
I've never seen a Tarantino film despite frequently listening Tarantino playlist on YouTube. Maybe I should put one on my list the next time I'm doing a late night water change.

Sounds like a great idea. If you want another great Leo movie, I watched "the Revenant" the other night. Dark, grisly, brutal and absolutely beautifully created!

Artt Artt pulp fiction and Django unchained are pretty rad, have yet to watch any other Tarantino flicks.

I second that 'The Revenant' was pretty great, although admitted I enjoy The Dollops pod cast on Hugh Glass much more. That guy was a bad arse.

Alright pulp fiction it is.

Since movies are some of my husbands only form of entertainment we have a lot of them. A good number of them I haven’t seen. Death wish, Deadpool, ant-man, blended, funnily enough pulp fiction. Just to name a few of the ones I haven’t watched.

Great. Thanks for spoiling the ending...

What do you mean the ship sinks!!! Well that's great, thanks a lot cobber. I was going to watch it later. You could have added "spoiler alert" to the title of your thread.

Well you do get 2 hours of Di caprio being handsome and charming before the big event so it might still be worth 3 hours of your time even if I Did give away the surprising plot twist at the end.

I'm not surprised, but tonight was meant to be Star Wars night and my wife is too tired to watch it supposedly. What a scam to make me watch titanic.
