The pic you show of the QA may be an L66 (King Tiger). The QA has a really tight line pattern. The Nugget may be an L177 (larger spots)
These three cats have similar color/pattern -
1. L66 "King Tiger", 5"-6" adult size
2. L260 "Queen Arabesque", 3"-4" adult size
3. L333, "Yellow Tiger", 5"-7" adult size
Same issue with the nuggets -
1. L18 "Gold Nugget", from Rio Xingu, 14" adult size
2. L177 "Gold Nugget", from Rio Iriri, 8" adult size
As WyldFya mentioned neither will graze on wood. I have both and I've never seen either do their part in cleaning. The one that does in my tank is the common Clown Pleco(L104). It doesn't get bigger than 3"-4" and is about $7 in most LFS. If you want a bruiser, the Royal Pleco(L27) may knaw on wood. Mine does. I hope I didn't bore you!
I agree with wyldfya 100%. Definately a queen, but yes sometimes confused with its hypancistrus brothers and sisters. It's just the same as the QA in my sig.
