I just wanted to know if it is legal to sell or purchase sturgeon fish. I do not want to do this, I just heard of people selling them, and I know that these fish get huge. Just wondering!!! Thanks.

I'm sure each state has it's own laws on the sale or purchase of any species of sturgeon. I'm sure that it's more specific than just sturgeon.
yeah cuz i dont think you can sell the kind of sturgeon i caught in the snake river... it was 11 feet long and we had to get a specail CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY!!! permit just to fish it

I know the Suwannee Sturgeon, in the Suwannee river here in FL is endangered and a protected species.
you can keep them in washington state my buddy has one i dont know about other states

Yeah, snakeheads or sturgeon? They are two completely different groups of fish. White sturgeons are the most common species for sale because they are raised in a lot of hatcheries, but they get massive and need cold, well oxygenated water to survive
