RIGHT I SEE SUM VIDEO ON YOUTUBE AND I WAS READIN THE COMMENTS AND A FEW PEEPS WERE SAYIN A ALBINO OSCAR IS'NT AS HARD AS A TIGER OSCAR IS THIS TRUE ??

WELL LEMME SEE, IF I SUBTRACT THE SCREAMING FROM THE INTENTIONAL MISSPELLING AND ASSUME YOU ARE USING 'HARD' IN THE 'DURABLE' SENSE, THEN MAYBE I CAN ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. YO.

Seriously, though, the hardiness of any individual fish is largely up to the breeders before you. Some 'albino' lines are very hardy and some are weak, just like 'tiger' strains. Without more knowledge of the parent fish, the number of fry from his batch who survived vs. died, there's just no way to say. Also, how well you take care of him will be a huge factor. If you treat him like a discus, he'll likely be fine even if he is fragile. If you treat him the way most Oscars are treated, he may prove to be 'fragile' even if he was in good health to begin with.

thanks

Well in that regard, what is it with English people who can't speak proper English? :p

But seriously, like knifegill said, you can't really say that albino oscars are more or less fragile than black oscars nor vice versa. It all depends on the parent fish and the blood lines.
