Question about Arowana? Need some advice....

Thanks for the advice everyone, I like idea about the other 2-3" cichlids to keep everyone busy, but I may just move the Salvini into th 75 and leave the Oscar and the Aro in the 155 with the others.

I would put the silver in the 75g until it is large enough not to be bothered by any of the cichlids. Adding more cichilds just adds more fish that can possibly harass or kill the aro.

i had a 6" oscar with a 10" aro and it mad the aro freak out all the time so i got rid of the oscar. i have seen lots of aro/ oscar combos but it didn't work for me. now that my aro is 15" i have thought about trying it again but i think my catfish would eat the oscar before anything else. good luck with the fish.

Good point, I will probably go ahead and do that in the 75 and let the Aro grow out a little, or just cycle the 300 and put the aro in there as the only resident

How long would you say the Aro could grow out in the 75 for if I chose to go that option?

if the aro is like 3.5 in it will take a few months they grow about an inch a month
