Question about chip in tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You never know with a glass box of water in our living spaces. Chip or not. What bugs me about that chip is it's toward the bottom, where the pressure/stress is most.

Did you have rocks or heavy decor in there? Any chance of warranty on the tank?

I wouldn't trust it and I don't think anyone's going to give you an answer that will let you sleep well at night. I'd call the manufacturer asap and have them replace it

Crap... OK.

Anyone know if Aqueon requires sending the aquarium in? Luckily the parent company is only about 30ish minutes from my home town, but if they require that then where do all my fish go? Into a Rubbermaid container for an indiscriminate amount of time?

All you can do is call. Or if you have a good relationship with your lfs maybe they could help you out with a replacement tank. If you got it from an lfs.
