why are most kamfas infertile?

Because hybrids tend to have weaker genetics. When you breed 2 things that aren't the same you end up with unstable genes. I'm assuming the flowerhorns with better genetics were closer related species before hybridization and line breeding.

male parrots are sterile. female parrtos and kamfa are fertile. i asked about the eyes because red eyed males tend to be fertile. orange/ yellow eyes less fertile and white eyes mostly sterile.

a fertile flowerhorn bred to a fertile parrot produce kamfas, having so much parrot blood massively increases the chances of the male kamfas being infertile

HEy, just learning how to use this, but im in edmonton alberta canada and wondering if anyone can put me in the right direction to find some good quality flowerhorns, and cichlids in general in this area, or even a province or two over......Canada anywhere really?
