Use Gorilla Glue (urethane wood glue) for the wood trim! It is stronger then silicone. It is also waterproof.
Ok, that is what I'll buy then thanks;)

SHHHHHHHH......:D

OMG....is it ever going to stop raining!! Three days in a row now:(

Ok, so it's been way more then a few days now ;), but I have finally got it resealed! The frame, well I glued it with the gorilla stuff and I am going to just paint it black I believe, cause I am going to paint the back of the tank black and once I'm able to get the wood I am making a stand for it...well I guess that really had no baring on why I'm painting it, but oh well. Anyway, I thought I'd post some pics of what I have done so far. No the silicone is not all smooth looking, but the last time I did this I put tape up to make the sides smooth, well when I pulled the tape off some of the silicone came off with it and I ended up having to re-due the entire thing so I didn't use it this time.

I also noticed some areas around the underside of the top frame that had a space so I siliconed that too, and did the underside of the tank, well just because.

I filled it today, and so far no leaks...am going to leave it sit for a few days just to be sure, then on to the painting.

A little bit of sandpaper to take away the rough edge before painting will help!

K...thanks!

Just thought I'd update again, and have a new question. So I got a day and was able to paint the top frame, and the back of the tank, going to work on the bottom frame and put one more coat on the back in the next day or two..it has rained so much since I started this, so this "project" seems to be taking for ever!
Anyway, my question is...does anyone know of anyway to get the scratches off or lessen them on the glass? I know this tank will never be "show" tank or anything, but I would like to do what I can to make it as best it can be:)

Oh, and yes...I know the inside need cleaned and after painting the back OOOH-Boy can you see it...LMAO!
