question about 'gentle giants'

ive got a 210 with an fx5 and filstar xp4 and im wanting to stock it with some gentle giants.
i dont have any desire to feed live feeders or anything like that
just some bigger fish that could be colorful with some personality
anyone have any suggestions?
 
Madagascar cichlids. Pin strip damba and polleni. Although Damba are quite expensive and hard to find. Rapp had some F1 before don't know if he is getting more or not thou.

I know there are alot of pleco keepers on here but i just can't get into them... i use to have a 10" one and it was awful
 
How about a Osphronemus (Giant Gourami)? Correct me if i spelled wrong. :D
They have a lot of personality and are true gentle giants.

i have looked into getting one, i cant seem to find any around here.
i know the geophagus species are pretty docile.
what about frontosa's??

how about..Osphronemus exodon..? Yeah pacu are gentle..So are niger catfish..Galaxy,fire,borneo python eels ect..
