and this also may be a question about other African cichlids doing the same thing.... i was wondering if anyone else s Africans come to the front of the tank when u sit in front of it even after i feed them if im sitting in font of the tank all 8 of em will group all in front like im even almighty they will follow me back and forth and when i walk away they do to
does anyone else have experience with this??? any reason why they do this?

it is pretty cool tho : )

Mine do this but they are just begging for food. After a while they get bored and go back to their lives.
Sometimes when I'm taking pictures they get really nosy and watch me. Most of my pictures have a super close, blurry mbuna face in them.

lol i was wondering if i dont feed em enough but i know i do... and they do look like they beg for food however it seems they all are curious about whats goin on

They are eternal beggers....Mine go as far as to know when its me and not one of the kids or my wife...If one of them comes into the room they behave normally but as soon as i get near the tank it looks like im a giant fish magnet.....Beggers

haha its awesome the way they do that however when i sit in front of the tank i wanna watch em swim not have them take aseat and watch me

Like with most pets, who is realy keeping who?
I have a puffer that is more like a puppy than most puppies.:perv: Begger!

Mine do exactly the same.
They even seem to know when its feeding time!

And I thought fish have a 2 second memory....... lol

my midas cichlids do that with me...they are the worst...and also really smart.
