I just got a new 120g fish tank and it is lightly planted and i want to keep it planted. I put my 2 Scombs in there one is about 6-7 in. and the other is about 4-5 in. I also have a clown pleco witch is about 4in. and a Leopard pleco L-114 witch is also about 4in. Now my question is will my 6-7in. TSN be ok in there and will he eat any of them? and would he be ok on the gravel thats in there? It is the gravel for the plants sorry for got what the name of it is.

So no one has any suggestions, nor an answer for my questions? I know a lot of people on here have TSN I hope someone can help.

:chillpill:man, give the lads some time, They'll give you all the advice you need as soon as they see your post...

120g is too small for a TSN for life, how long do you plan on keeping it in there? They will eat anything that fits in they're mouths and somethings that wont so it'll be fine with its tankmates...till it gets hungry.

well just to give you an idea...your TSN won't last that long in the 120 gallon...and as for your TSN being okay...yea it will be ok in their for about a year....or so and also the only thing to worry about is to watch out for your other fishes as your TSN may open its mouth and eat one of them

as for the gravel...it will be fine....the gravel doesn't really apply to what they like....as long as theirs something their they should like it

He will quickly out grow the tank and will eat ALL your fish before he out grows the tank.

Is that what you were waiting to hear ???

TSN's need large tanks, they get skiddish real easy and tend to hurt themselves bashing around. 120 gallon + TSN = trouble.

JMO of course..........

your opinion is most of our opinions.....that we all have to say about the TSN being skiddish and and all the trouble it will cause

A TSN should not be in any aquarium! they should have at least 900 gallons or more no exception.

Well I got more than I asked for but thanks. Yes I know he aint going to be ok in there for life, I do research my fish before I get them I just wanted to know about the gravel. And my TSN is not skiddish at all he has a great personality when I clean the tank he swims to me and lets me touch him so he aint scared at all. I cant upgrade to nothing that big right now cuz I am in an apartment but i will be as soon as i get a house witch is in like no more than 3 months and as soon as I have enough money for it. I mean I up grading not down and I do give my fish the proper care. Thanks again.
