Question about my TSN

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well thank you I just hope he doesn't eat the gravel like how some peoples are doin. I don't want to have to take out the gravel. But thanks again.

A TSN will do okay for some time in a 125... as for eating everything in the tank, i guess it just depends on how hungry you let him get. I've kept my 4" bristlenose with my 9" TSN for several months. My TSN is the mellowest of all the fish in the tank. The most skittish being the aro. Maybe its just luck.

Yea I agree with you my TSN is the mellowest of all my fish too. See I think people mis understood my I think they thought I was going to get a TSN and the thing is I already have one I have had him since he was about 3 inches and now he between 6 and 7. I am going to put him in my 120 I just hope he doesn't eat the gravel like how some peoples catfish have been doin.

A lot of it does come down to personality. My TSN has been on a tankmate munching spree recently and keeps refusing his prawn, cause hes already full!!!!!!!!

As Bgonz basically already said but you sort of ignored get rid of it now if you dont want tankmates to all be eaten. Even in 3 months it should have gained 3" and be about 10" and will be able to eat anything in your tank. Up to you i guess but just seems abit stupid for something thats common as dirt in the US. Its not like you wont find another one in a few months when you move.

Maybe cuz I dont want to get rid of it!! S**t its not like I am treating it bad I am providing it with good care as it grows!! And well mine is not growning that fast cuz i am not power feeding it. And whats the point of getting rid of it just to get another one in like 3 months:screwy:. Just drop it gee I didnt know I was going to get all kinds of s**t just for asking if it will do ok in a lighty planted tank with some gravel. Sorry I was carring about my other fish as well as my TSN!!!

Can someone please close I have already found out what I needed to find out, and I dont need anyone else givin me s**t. Thank you.

The only reason someone mentioned you get rid of it was to "protect" your other fish from your TSN. If you ask for help from people online you are bound to get more than you asked for... it could be good or bad and you need to just take what comes and either accept it or not. If you are serious about your fish then it doesn't matter what anyone here wil say about it, you will do what ever you need to do to maintian their lives in the best way you know how. Asking for a thread to be closed just because you've gotten more information than you asked for is unfortunatly not a reason as this thread can provide more answers to other members.

No one said that you didn't care for your other fish and that the TSN was the only one that you can care about... they gave you the advice BECAUSE they know you care... take the time to read and understand what someone is trying to say before acking like a kid that wants to take their ball home because they arn't the star of the game.

And basslover is a fine example to follow...He got told of the other day and dealt with it Very graciously!:)
