Question about payara's

haha I just went to Tong's last week and they had 2, but he wasn't selling them. He said they had 4 earlier in the week, but someone came and bought them all. They didn't know what kind they were though. Have you seen them yet? I just ask about not knowing if it's a scomb or not because I saw an add on craigslist recently and someone was selling a bunch of baby armatus for $20 each and that seemed pretty cheap compared to the prices I've seen.

it's all scombs baby size 2.5 inches, the 2 they are not selling also scomb...i have no idea why they didn't want to sell those 2 fishes.

So those were all scombs? Ill try to get a few next time they have them then. The girl said she thinks he is trying to grow them out for their display, but they were gonna try and get some more in next week.

If you read the Payara id sticky, it will give you some good insight on what to look for next time your at the lfs. Scombs have a few characteristics to them that Armatus and tats dont. Its very helpful and informative.
