question about Pike Cichlids

so how much would it be for a dwarf pike cichlid like around 2-3inchs?

um...thats like full grown. if you can find them, it'll run you $15-$20 each.

i got the tank running about 15min ago with just gravel in there i still need to buy a heater for the tank which i will get it in 2days or so i will let the water cycle through for about a week or 2 with in that time period i will get some plants for the tank wat would u recomend to plant in the tank with the pike cichlid? heres a pic of the tank with just the gravel and background with water in it

you need to cycle that tank for 4-6 weeks with starter fish before you add anything.

k i thought that u should cycle for 2weeks
but i will cycle it for 4weeks
wat kind of fish should i use to cylce it goldfish?

godfish will do, but you could just do a fishless cycle. much easier i.m.o. and you wont have to make the goldfish suffer with the amonia spike. i find that tiger barb work awesome for starters and in your case you could keep them long term as a shoaling fish. i personally recomend 5 tiger barbs.

I have a pike in a 75g planted tank with some Bichirs and they get along very well.

Today my Senegal accidentally stuck it's head into my Pike's mouth while it was yawning.

That looks like a snakehead to me ... couldn't tell ya what type as they are illegal here.
