Question about Rating Dat

I have two ratings: Monster or not Monster. IMO, all Dats are Monster!

I agree with sqwirel; my understanding is that the rating of a dat is based on the bars, the color, and the stability; I don't think what they eat is really a factor but hey maybe. Anyway they say a dat that is Japanese grade would be one with extremely bright and stable coloration and would have a full necklace and belt yada yada yada....

The whole full necklace and belt dont really play a big role for me. I'm just glad I have some..:D :D
 
im with you eman they have the same thing with asian aros too right now ill be lucky to even see one in USA lolz let alone rating one

I agree, I think body shape plays a role as well.
 
i said food because i hear a lot of people asking what the dats are eating, especially at a larger size because its harder to train dats to eat the food the new owner wants them to eat.
 
food might be a factor, imo..

imagine this..

dats who eat ONLY live foods will be more expensive to maintain, thus lower price

dats who readily accept prepared foods or even product (hikari and such) is cheaper to maintain, thus should be higher price..

what do u guys think?
