Question about River Monsters

I don't remember this episode but after seeing the video of him on fox I wouldn't necessarily believe everything he says about identifing fish
I vaguely remember that episode and just because he said it it does not mean that he can't be mistaken.I've never seen it written aywhere that Amia calva are found in Africa.Kanta;5038546; said:

I just re-watched that part and he refered to it as a "mongusu." I am sure I misspelled that. I can't find anyhting with a similar name.

that was my bad i just watched it again. I thought he said it looked bowfin but i was watching the first time while eating dinner.
