Without seeing them eat in person, I wouldn't do it. If you're able to see them eat, and they will eat frozen foods and not just live, they're still a bit high but not completely unreasonable if they're uncommon in your area.
Are these going to be your first rays? If yes, I'd recommend something else for the time being to get your feet wet.
The other thing to consider is if you honestly think you'll be able to house them for life, otherwise you're stuck trying to sell them down the road.
