Well my rays are eating me out of my house! I'm feeding 2-pounds of shrimp a day. and at 4.88 per pound.. its getting to much.. I'm looking to find a place who will sell me like a 100-150 lbs of it for a good price.. does anyone know of such a place?

thanks

Im in Illinois.. How much are you guys paying per LB?

shrimp $5 and up
smelt $4.50
its a joke and i am wanting more rays. i would like a new source but i don't have a big enough freezer to get in bulk so i have to purchase from the grocery store

3.50 per lb shrimp. 1.75 for squid. I went down to one of my local asian markets and ask them for a deal if I buy shrimp a few cases at a time. I have a freezer in my fish room and stock up every month or 2. They usually are pretty cool if you wheel and deal with them.

i buy from local asian markets in rowald heights..usually $13 per 4 pd box.farm raised shrimp..also used 1 pd bags of assorted that has squid, shrimp, mussels and such for 1.49..they all devour it..

Brad,

Check around online. You can get some good deals for 100 lbs.+. There are also some shrimp farms out there in the Midwest that can help you out.

There is one in Lansing that I used to go to. He would sell me his "seconds" for $2.00/lb if I bought 50 lbs.
