Question about substrate

Okay I have PFS( pool filter sand) in my tanks and was wondering what sand would work best to add some color instead of it being so bright

If you don't wanna do that black diamond then u could go to petco because they seel pretty much every color sand. The sand/gravel mix that fishman has isn't sold around here I tried finding it

Quikrete all purpose sand. Tried every home depot and lowes no one carries the same mix.

Go to Youtube and search Google images for black diamond sand. It counters the bright lights in my tank. Grains are big enough not to be siphoned by the filter inlet, too. Brings out the color in fish too as it serves as a strong background contrast.

i love black diamond sand myself, nice for mixing, and does sharpen the clarity of the water/ colors of the fish by adding some contrast imo
