I've been reading post about these fish and how bad some people really want them my question is why cant you own then in the USA ??? is it because there afraid they will be put in our waters ??

If you don't wan't to do all the reading simply put what happened was someone realeased a northern snakehead into a pond in maryland which kicked of a massive media coverage of the issue things like the fact they can breath air and travel accross land were greatly exadurated and the public felt unsafe plus they also hammered the issue of how potentially invasive they are then they were relased into a river in vergina and so the public was totally freaked out which out stress on politicians which leed to them banning all species of channa

no, actually our govt is 100% in banning these ****ing things. They will eat all our native fish, spread by walking from lake to pond to stream to lake, then eat all those fish. and then when they get bored with that they will eat our sheep, goats, pigs, horses, cattle, ferrets,llamas, bigfoots, etc....so you see it would be a problem.
