ok guys i got some sand after i washed it is no in my thank......the water looks dirty i have let the sand seat for about an hour is it now safe to turn my filters on? i have hob filters

what sand did you get? pool filter sand?
as long as there's some distance between your filter intake and the sand it'll be fine for you to turn it on.

after looking all day for pool filter sand i could not find it anywhere...so i just got some play sand.......the water is clearing up i hope it gets better by tomorrow....
