Question for breeders

Well here is what happend.... I introduced an experianced male.... 2 days later i see what I think to be ray sperm floating around the tank.... i try and feed later that night she doesnt eat anything and the male pounds down food. She started eating the next day and now she has become lighter. Same thing happened to my old motoro female.

My female motoro has lightened up a lot since she has gotten pregnant. However i moved her from a black sand tank to a tank with light sand around the time that she got pregnant (not knowing). The male that i moved along with her has not lightened up with the change in sand though. It is hard to say whether it is from being pregnant or from the change in sand color but I think it is from being pregnant.
