Ok guys...you are so great for all of your help! I think I was just having a mental block and my brain couldn't understand what you were trying to tell me. But I figured it out, switched the two pumps around and now everything is fine. Thanks so much for your help and patience.
Question for people with drilled tanks.

So did you get it running yet? If you have more problems just ask. You need to know its done right or else your tank will drain all the way down to the lowest hole.
I just need a bigger fitting for one of the pumps which I will go get in the morning and I think all should be good. I just hooked the three lower holes up to one pump that can pump out of water and hooked another pump to a directional U-Tube that hangs on the top of the tank and it returns the water that is being drained into the w/d back to the tank. Which is what you guy have been trying to tell me. 
For some reason it just all clicked at once. I will let everyone know for sure in the morning when I get it all filled up. Thanks again for all of your help.

Sounds perfecto! Thats the way to go for sure. Although you seemed disappointed at how the drilling turned out in reality it allows you to have great flow without an ugly powerhead so it is really ideal.
Everything is not perfect! I do have one little problem and its a stupid one at that! Th hole that is in the top left corner that drains the tank is making this God awful suction noise. I have moved it all around and as soon as the water level gets even with it, it starts again! Any pointers?
