nice serval i wanted to get one but the only place i found them wanted $6,000 if you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for yours?

Do a search for exotic cats or catteries, I did this recently and found serval kittens for $1500-$2000. They are my favorite cat and the only large cat I would own.
As an example this site has male kittens for $2000 and females at $1800 www.htcirclecexotics.com/animals_available.html

It has it's own car :grinyes:

i mean savanah cat not serval. if im correct the serval is the wildcat and the savanah is a serval bred with a regular cat?

That is actually my friends serval (thats me in yhe pic with it though). I not exactly sure what he got it for but it was between $1,500-$2,000. They call the cross between a serval and a domestic cat a bengal. At least I'm pretty sure. Those are pretty crazy too. That thing is the coolest animals I have encountered. They aren't the nicest things ever. They will bond with one human and thats about it. If they don't want you around, they will let you know (usually with a swat or loud hiss, like what he's doing in the first pic). Very cool though, if you have the resources. They need lots of room, enrichment, and contact from the owner.

a bengal is a bengal tiger bred with a domestic cat. i looked up info on savannah cats and savannah cats are african servals bred with a domestic cat. is that pic an actual serval?

Yeah its a serval. he bred to a domestic female and the offspring were sold bengals.
