2 manly men. 6 girly men.

Have you got a link to this information to back up your answer, just so I can be certain for future reference. Also have you any information as to how many manly women it would take to move said tank, again just for future reference.

Thanks in advance, :grinyes:

It will take 2 manly women to move the tank. However it will only take 1 attractive woman to move the tank, as she will most likely have a group of manly men at her beck and call.

I’m moving into a new ground level apartment and I have a friend in town offering me a free 220 setup. When I walk through the apartment this weekend, what should I be concious of? I’m kind of nervous to bring it up to the landlord. The largest tanks I’ve ever had were 125’s and I had them in a basement, so I need advice from some fellow monster keepers.

Also wondering how many guys I’m gonna have to get to move it.

I have the same size tank (assuming its glass). Four mid sized guys moved mine. I have the suction cups just in case. They did struggle a bit getting it on the stand. You're talking about a ton of weight total including the stand so if nothing else make sure you're perpendicular to the joists (if upstairs). Would still have someone check out the structure first. If you're on a concrete slab in the basement you should be good. Your landlord may want a full liability clause put in your lease.

Mine is in the basement on a concrete slab. And the largest tank has levelled the floor front to back (but not side to side).
