hey guys just wondering how long i should wait before i start adding corals to my tank? its a 10g nano reef/lagoon and its going to be mostly softies because I don't think my 40 watt 50/50 power compact fixture will sustain SPS.
It's been up and running for about a month and a half and I've had 2 clown fish in it for a week. As far as water parameters go everything's ideally where it should be. calcium's a bit high but that's probably because there's nothing in it to use the calcium besides the growing coraline algae.
I dose my tank with PurpleUp! to help the growth of coraline and was wondering would it still be ok to dose the PurpleUp! even with corals in the tank?
