If you haven't already purchased the canister filter I would steer you toward a HOB powerfilter instead

I already have a extra fluval 305 filter, so that is why I was asking. But if a different filter is better, than, Ill make note of that. We are not on a budget, but then again, saving money is always best. But doing it rt is better in my opinon.
I was thinking of using the 305 since I have it, but if its better to use something else, I maybe able to do that...
