Question on Fronts aggresiveness?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know it isn't the best idea in the world but if I had to I could move my BP's out of my 120 and move the Fronts over to my SA 120 tank. yeah I know it's not the best idea but I would keep a close eye on them and make sure they were big enough to handle themselves in there. Who knows what will happen. I'm pretty attached to them now so I can tell you that no matter what they will be well taken care of.

We'll see. That will be quite a while from now anyway. The BP are very old now and may not be around too much longer. Hopefully anyway. lol

what's wrong with my advice?

You said get rid of one. You think one front would work in that 65? with anything else or alone? I did say however a bigger tank could happen in the future.

yeah, IF you plan to get a bigger tank soon, get more. but if you aren't going to get a bigger tank lose one.

yup i agree. it's like living in your beadroom for life. i'd reccomend loosing a front or getting a bigger tank.

I love when people say this... Do you really think a 120 is so much better that the fish are like, "Man, look at all this room!!, Whoo!"? In nature, they live in a LAKE!!! You are still keeping them in a glass box no matter the size. (those of you with tanks the size of a small lake, please dismiss this:ROFL: )

Now, with that being said....If your fish can't move around well, and you are having water quality issues, get a bigger tank, or get different fish.

If you have small Fronts it's gonna take awhile for them to get big enough to start causing issues. By then you can decide if these are fish you really love and want to invest the money, time and space to set up a "Front-Only" 180 or something. Otherwise, you will have NO PROBLEM finding someone to take the ones you have off of your hands.

To see some really nice large Frontosa set-ups go to www.aquariumdesigngroup.com and check out the slide show! It's awesome..I've got it bookmarked!
