ok so i recently set up a 210 and was soaking a big piece of driftwood in the bath tub for a week or 2 changing the water every other day. then my mom said it looks clear so i droped the piece and a few others that i was soaking with it in the tub. and first few days clear but now it started leaching tamins or watever u call it. my question is how do i clear it up with out doing a major waterchange?

adding carbon to your filter will help. if it's a lot of tannin, it may only make it lighter in color.

Add Purigen by seachem to your filter, itll clear it up fast!

True, I had plenty of driftwoods in my setup and my water turned tea'ish.. Added carbon in my Magnum 350 and my water was clear as a bottle of Fuji water in less than 12 hours.

Pura or purigen
