If your fish love low pH, don't mind the driftwood. Tannins have positive effects on the health of your fish. Adding some activated carbon to your filtration will remove the colour.
 
No, the company Pura makes a product called Pura Complete, which is similar to Purigen
 
thanks for all the advice i put a container of carbon that i had laying around in my fx5 and took out the driftwood and the water is clearing up. i will soak the driftwood again cuz my parents hate the color of the water and keep on saying it looks like someone took a piss in the tank lol.
