Nope... sorry... Like stated, there are so many miss ID'd pcocks that people buy from LFS... Most are labeled as Ocellaris or Temensis and they are actually Monos! lol

But yeah my LFS had a couple labeled as temensis, I asked the manager and said those aren't temensis and he said they are 100% temensis and truly the are monoculus. Either way they are fantastic fish.
And you have to remember these guys eat ALOT! my big temenis(15") eats about 25 feeders and a butt load of freeze dried shrimp and krill.
My baby monoculus(3-4") eat about 3-4 feeders each and some freeze dried shrimp.
My juvie ocellaris(6-7") eat about 15 feeders each and about 3 earthworms each.
Hope you got a bigger tank for that Tem! He will out grow that 180 by the end of the year!

thanks alot Fishr you semm really knoledgable about cichla! my tank is 72x24x27 so about 2 years if i get them little? Also what is the ideal food for them? i see alot of ppl feeding them feeders
